Naruto: Gekitō Ninja Taisen! 4 (Review by Ted)

Platform: Gamecube
Rating: (unreleased, in the United States)
----
In response to a very big mistake that the makers of "Naruto: Clash of the Revolution" that a company had made, I strongly suggest that instead, there should be a special wiiware version of THIS FIGHTING GAME! Forget all of those Wii fighting games, this one's incredible! I mean, "Naruto: Clash of the Ninja Revolution 3" may contain 40 characters, but this game contains 42! So, if you are able to obtain a converter device with a gamecube, and this game, you are lucky! Why? Well, it is Japan that had defined video game entertainment. So, I don't understand why some games aren't released in the United States, which is a real pain.
To be honest, this is probably THE BEST gamecube exclusive fighting game, out there!

Naruto: Clash of the Ninja Revolution (Review by Ted)

Platform: Wii
Rating: T
---
Hello, I am here to talk about the worst anime-based game I've ever played. What better than "Naruto: Clash of the Ninja Revolution"? Well, you see, the controls with the Wii Remote and Nunckuck are horrible, (story mode requires that) and story mode is just plain ridiculous. So, unless you have some sort of cheat device to unlock absolutely EVERYTHING in the game, I strongly suggest that you DON'T BUY THIS GAME!

My rating: 1/10

Nights:Journey of Dreams review by Ted

Hello, I honestly think that Nights:Journey of Dreams turned out rather questionable. Because first of all, the second boss of the game is too frustrating! Which is why to avoid stress, I decided to stop playing it. And besides which, I didn't think it was anything special. But I did have a bit of fun with it, when I first got it. But since it turned out questionable, it had me thinking, "Why didn't Sega just release the first title for the Wii for Virtual Console instead, along with other video games made for the Sega Saturn?!? But it's not exactly a poor game. So, for effort, I'll give it a 5/10, saying that the "bothersome controls" do not ruin the game play, though the second boss was rather ridiculously frustrating and I don't know how to beat him. So, I might as well look at a walkthrough. Otherwise, I'll just go through pointless stress again. (Knuckles Chaotix is better than this game!)

Super Smash Bros. Brawl review by Ted

What I am talking about is none other than an extremely well done fighting game for Wii! What other than "Super Smash Bros. Brawl"? It's rather simple, yet addictive. Up to 4 players can play, at once!
There's a good amount of playable characters, in this game. And a good amount of stages to battle in, as well! But the stage editor, however, is kind of lame and obsolete. It won't even let you insert your own graphics or music, to it! Thankfully, there are people that are doing homebrew stages, which is an awesome idea!
Story Mode however, isn't too long, which is a good thing. Because it took me about 3 days to finish it. And once you beat story mode, you can unlock Sonic the Hedgehog, Sega's mascot and a seriously well done video game character! To be honest, he's the character I am best with, in this game. But I'm also good with Kirby, who is my best character in the two previous "Super Smash Bros." titles.
This is a seriously good video game! So, I'll give it a 9/10, saying that the 50 bucks is so worth it! When it comes to video games, here's my suggestion; Never pay more than $49.99 for a video game!

Mario Kart Wii review by Ted

Hello, it's just me again. I have yet another review. (which is obvious, because every blog on this site is a review.) And what better game to review right now other than Mario Kart Wii? It's the best racing game ever made as an exclusive for the Wii. If you are new to racing games, a new copy includes a free Wii Wheel, which is an accessory for your Wii Remote, where the grip different, and makes it look like an actual racing game. Crazy, huh? Well, I know one thing; it's an extremely good deal! If you want to buy a racing game exclusively for Wii, I strongly suggest this one. It contains a decent amount of playable characters, and it contains a total of 32 tracks to race in! You can choose different cars and bikes to drive, which is neat, and you can use items! There are different items you can use; including the banana peel (Sounds silly, but it's actually useful, for slowing down another racer!)
For being so well done, I'll give it a 9/10, saying that this is the best racing game you can possibly find for the Wii!

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles review (by Ted)

I haven't updated this site in a while! Anyways, I have a review on a video game for WiiWare, known as "Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King". After beating it, I was thinking, "Come on, you guys! Seriously? This is all you've got? This game is too short!" It was fun, other than that. But it would be even better, if it were longer, and if the city could be built even more. So, I'll give this game a 6/10, saying that this game had extremely well done game play, but it's just too short!

Mega Man 9 review by Ted

This game is a seriously impressive game. You say that "Mega Man 9" sucks, just because of the graphics aren't the best? If so, here's my advice for you; you shouldn't judge a video game by it's looks!
It's released for WiiWare, PlayStation Network, and XBox Live Arcade. For WiiWare, it will cost you 1000 Wii Points.
If you want more information on this game, check the Wikipedia. I can't wait for the release of Mega Man 10, either!
I give this game an 8/10, saying that it's a little short, but it's one of the best games ever made. And it's quite challenging, as well! My favorite robot master in this game is Hornet Man, because he's a sort of a bee-like robot, but he also likes gardening. He's really interesting!

Spelunky Review by Ted

This game is NOT a GameCube game. Rather, it's a game for the PC. Note that it's one of those indie-games, but it's obviously worth getting. It's basically Mario and Indiana Jones combined, but it's exciting game play makes it worth getting.
Is it free? Well, the PC version is, but however, I heard that there's going to be a version for Wii, but it's going to be for WiiWare. So, if you have a PC with internet, I strongly suggest getting the PC version, for the fact that it's free, but if you don't have a PC and you own a Wii, you should get this for the Wii. You can get the special WiiWare games for the Wii from the "Virtual Shopping Channel".
My point is, it's ADDICTIVE! And I was HOOKED on this game, before. I give it a 9/10, saying that this game is likely one of the best free games you can possibly find for the PC.
For more information on some of those independent video games, I suggest checking out TIGsource. It's a good website, for information about independently made video games!

Custom Robo game reviews by Ted

It's yet ANOTHER game exclusively released for the Nintendo GameCube. But so what? It's a pretty exciting one! Because you can equip parts onto these little controllable robots called "Custom Robo" to battle against the other custom robos. It's quite a fun game! And my favorite robo in the game is Ray Legend, who may seem obsolete, but don't be fooled! It's the robo I'm best with, and it's got the best dodging ability, in the entire game!
But as for the game released exclusively for the Nintendo DS, known as "Custom Robo Arena", it's not as good, for the fact that it's for up to 2 players instead of up to 4 players, but the whole "Soulboost" ability is really a nice addition! In this game, my favorite robo is Snipe.
Here are my ratings; Custom Robo I give a 7/10, and Custom Robo Arena I give a 6/10.

F-Zero GX review by Ted

This is probably the BEST racing game ever made for the Nintendo GameCube! It provides a good challenge, it's game play is very unique, and the cool thing is, you can make and customize your own vehicles!
Story Mode however, is the most frustrating part. But if you win the challenge of the final chapter, you'll get an awesome surprise; which I won't mention, because I don't want to spoil any surprises. If you want to see what it is and spoil the surprise, I strongly suggest checking IGN or GameFaqs to see what the unlocked secret is.
Sadly, it's only for the GameCube. But if you have a Wii, it will work on that, as well, as long as you own a GameCube controller. And if you want to save your data, you'll need a GameCube memory card, as well.
I'll give it a 9/10, saying that this the BEST racing game that is exclusively made for the Nintendo GameCube!

Evolution Worlds Review by Ted

This game is actually a well done video game! I got a used copy of it for Christmas, and it's got a nice storyline, to it! My favorite part of it is the game play, of course. It's short, but for about $3.99 or something, you got a good deal. Because even though it's short, it's worth buying. Though the brief mild language [the game has hardly any of it though] concerns me; if it has that kind of stuff, why is it rated E? Despite all the tiny flaws, it's worth buying! Because it's both "Evolution" and "Evolution 2" for the Sega Dreamcast combined into one game! It's not only worth buying, but it's also worth playing, as well!
It's a game made exclusively for the Nintendo GameCube, so if you have a GameCube or Wii, and you want a GameCube game, get this one, because it's nicely done and unique!
I honestly think that they should make a third "Evolution" game in the series, where Yurka is playable. Hopefully it happens, but then again, it may not happen.
I'll give this RPG the rating 7/10, saying that despite the few tiny flaws, it's actually a good game!
